Clouded Leopard

There are two species of Clouded Leopard. Heritage Park Zoo houses the species (Neofelis nebulosa). These are secretive cats with many unusual characteristics. Rotating anklebones allow them to hang from their back feet or climb face down from a tree. Jaws that can open wider than any other cat, and canine teeth that are the same size as a tigers- 2-inches-long! These secretive cats are native to the countries of south-east Asia and range from 26-50 lbs.
