Situated on ten acres north of Prescott and overlooking Willow Lake, Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary (HPZS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to providing native and exotic animals in need with permanent homes. Since 1988 our mission has been to “Give refuge to non-releasable, rescued wildlife while providing conservation through exhibition and public education.” As a non-profit, we rely on gate admission, events, programs, and fundraising, to provide excellent care to over 200 sanctuary animals and over 400 rescue animals each year. Open every day of the year, the park provides a source of recreation, education, and entertainment for all ages.
