Wet and Wild Day is Back!
Wet & Wild Water Day is the best way to cool off in the summer! Held every August at Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary, festivities include water games, a water slide, Kiwanis sprinkler area, special animal feedings, concessions and much more! This event has grown to become one of the most popular events of the year. You won’t want to miss out on this fun summer activity!
Members are FREE!

Boo at the Zoo
A Heritage Park Zoo Tradition!
Boo at the Zoo is a fun family event held every October 31st. This year, gates will open for Boo at 5:00 pm for families with children 6 and under and at 6pm for all ages. Last admission will be at 8:30 pm. Come in costume and trick-or-treat at different stations around the Sanctuary with your favorite animals. Bring a flashlight and see all the nocturnal residents and don’t forget to visit the new Boo Zone!

Thanksgiving with the Lemurs
Happy Thankgiving from Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary!
Before your Thanksgiving dinner, visit the zoo and see the Ring-tailed Lemurs enjoy their Thanksgiving. Dinner will be served at 11:30am. It’s the only time of year that the lemurs get a fully dressed table with all their favorite fruits and veggies and even a primate biscuit shaped turkey!
Then walk the rest of the zoo to work up your appetite!

WildLights
Holiday Light Display!
The holiday light display will be open to the public every Friday & Saturday evening from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm, beginning on November 27th and 28th and running through January 1st & 2nd, 2027. The park will be filled with festive holiday decorations, music, and spectacular light displays. We’ll have light concessions available with items such as hot cocoa, cider, and coffee. This also makes a great time to visit the Gift Shop for those special holiday gifts! Last year’s event was our biggest yet and we’re making 2026 even stronger!Holiday Cheers
