Southwest Wildlife Rehabilitation and Educational Foundation is a non-profit organization that specializes in rescuing and rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife native to Arizona, educating today's youth on the importance of native wildlife and the environment, and encouraging educational career opportunities in environmental science.

YHS creates a community awareness of the worth of animals and the importance of the human/animal bond. This center provides all aspects of care to any animal in need that comes to their door. They find loving, lifetime homes for all the healthy, adoptable animals they receive. YHS relieves pet overpopulation through education and spay/neuter programs, as well as provide education and resources that promote responsible pet ownership. Many of these programs are supported through volunteers and work with other non-profits in the area.
